LOMBOK, Indonesia (4 Jan 2001) -- Nine people have been hacked to death and three others seriously wounded on the holiday island of Lombok near Bali. Villagers armed with machetes and home-made firearms attacked a nearby village as a dispute over ownership of radio equipment erupted into violence.
