Manthiri adds nitrox

MALDIVES (3 Oct 2002) -- As part of a comprehensive upgrade of its diver support equipment, Manthiri has announced it will install a new Nitrox system.

The new system, which will be installed in a new 54-foot diver support vessel, will give Manthiri guests the option of diving on enriched air beginning in December 2002.

 

Manthiri was designed and built in the Maldives and launched in 1995 after several delays due to funding problems.
