Take a crude, ugly web site that looks like it was thrown onto the web by elementary school kids in an afternoon, add all of the worst cliches such as scuba tanks as link images, list every scuba company and organization you can think of that might be naive enough to fall for this DOT-COM scam, add a silly chat board to inflate hit counts with 10 or 20 bored and boring regulars discussing their pets, favorite TV shows and how much they hate PADI, and NOW JUST TO GIVE THIS UGLY IDIOTIC MESS A REALLY FOUL STENCH, lie about PADI, the PADI Travel Network, Wakatobi Resort, Cyber Diver and other dive industry leaders under the guise of free speech and consumer advocacy. Welcome to Diverlink (aka LiarLink on the message boards), the ugliest and most deceitful scuba site on the web. You really wonder how Diverlink web monkey Eddie Rhodes could ask us with a straight face to support yet another disturbed, obnoxious liar with an intellectually bankrupt and insipid site that's been rotting away on the web for years. Apart from PADI-bashing and false SPAM accusations against companies that wisely choose not be associated with such crude lies and shameless "GIMME YOUR $$$" dot com exploitationism, Eddie the Scammer has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO OFFER but endless telephone book lists and a chat room full of PADI-bashing deadbeats. No self-respecting diver or dive company wants to support Eddie's lies, including PADI, which recently announced they are suing Rhodes for libel. It's about time! We commend PADI for filing the lawsuit and hope that it will put all of the ugly Eddies of the world on notice that DOT COM scams don't pay. As for Eddie himself, he is now redefining crude, shameless dot com exploitationism by utilizing the Diverlink site to solicit funds, ostensibly to fight PADI. Predictably, a few obnoxious PADI-bashers are tossing dirty old peanuts at the little web monkey to keep Eddie dancing, clapping his little toy cymbals, clutching his tiny plastic testicles and screaming, "PUT ANOTHER DOLLAR IN (MY BLEEDING ANAL ORIFICE)". No thanks dickhead! There are many roads to follow but dirty, ugly, lying Eddie Rhodes is certainly not one of them. Diverlink represents the worst of the web and gives consumer advocacy a bad name.
