Aggressor Fleet pulls out of Solomon Islands

HONIARA, Solomon Islands (28 June 2000) -- South Seas Ship Management Ltd. has canceled plans to move the Truk Aggressor II to the Solomon Islands this year.

According to Aggressor Fleet management the decision was reached because of the political crisis in the Solomon Islands where conflicts between tribal factions erupted in violence earlier this month.

The Aggressor Fleet plans to keep the liveaboard scuba diving vessel in Truk Lagoon and return to the Solomons in July, 2001.
