ST. CROIX, Virgin Islands (14 Dec 2000) -- Tired of looking at the same old fish? Try Buck Island off the coast of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.

Two tourists snorkeling at the Buck Island nature reserve spotted large bales washing ashore and took a closer look.

The bales contained 240 kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of US$8 million.

Not to be distracted from enjoying the nature reserve, the tourists turned the cocaine over to authorities and returned to Buck Island for more snorkeling.
