MYSTIC, Connecticut (11 July 2005) -- Funeral services have been held for a scuba diver who drowned while scuba diving with her boyfriend off Ram Island in Long Island Sound. Sandra Palmer Dagata, 44, went missing on June 20 after getting caught in a strong current. Several dive rescue teams launched a huge search but failed to find the missing diver. Her body was finally found by a fishermen some 10 days later. Sandra Palmer D'Agata disappeared June 20 while scuba diving off Ram Island near Groton. Her body was found 10 days later.
