ERIE, Pennsylvania (14 Sep 2005) -- Divers searching for items near a 19th century shipwreck found a shoe that contains a human foot.

Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook told CDNN it is still not known if the remains are related to the crash of a small plane in the same area last month.

Three people were aboard the plane including 24-year-old Kevin Jesteadt, 23-year-old Lindsey Myers and the pilot, 22-year-old James Regal.

Forensic experts will conduct DNA tests to determine the identity of the foot.
