LAHAINA, Maui (21 Jan 2005) -- A 53-year-old California man died scuba diving off Kaanapali on Thursday afternoon. Troy Bangs, a tourist from Sacramento California who was a guest at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort, went beach diving with a group of divers but separated from the group and headed back to shore alone.
