ENCINITAS, California (15 May 2005) -- A scuba diver nearly drowned off Seaside Beach in Encinitas when she lost her balance in the surf. Fire rescue officials told CDNN the 44-year-old female diver was with five other scuba divers, including a professional divemaster, when the accident happened.
