PACIFIC GROVE, California (17 May 2005) -- An experienced California diver died while scuba diving off Pacific Grove. Tyler Dutton, 48, experienced problems during his ascent from a depth of 16 meters (53 feet). Dutton's bottom time was 32 minutes according to the Monterey County Coroner's Office. Dutton was diving with three friends who said he suddenly ascended to the surface ahead of the group when he reached a depth of about 5 meters (15 feet).
