ROATAN, Honduras (23 June 2005) -- Two divers are dead after a scuba diving accident at Pirate's Point off Roatan Island in Honduras that involved both a tourist diver and a well-known local divemaster.

One of the victims was a guest at the CoCo View Resort and the other was PADI professional divemaster Tulio Gomez.

There were no witnesses to the accident and the name of the tourist diver has not yet been released.

The CoCo View dive resort has already resumed dive operations although authorities are still investigating the accident to determine the exact cause of death.
