Searchers find body of scuba diver missing near Petit Rocher

PETIT ROCHER, Canada (17 July 2005) -- Seachers have found the body of a diver who went missing while scuba diving in Chaleur Bay near Petit Rocher, New Brunswick.

Authorities are not releasing the identity of the 34-year-old male diver until next-of-kin have been notified.

The man was diving alone close to shore where a friend was watching when he disappeared.

RCMP divers, the coast guard, BNPP police and local fishermen all assisted in the search.
