Research scuba diver nearly drowns in Minnesota

LAKELAND, Minnesota (19 July 2005) -- Bystanders saved the life of a diver who collapsed after scuba diving in the St. Croix River.

CPR revived the diver who was rushed by helicopter to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

The diver was diving with a group of research divers from Missouri who were at the site to study mussels.
