DWEJRA, Malta (22 July 2005) -- A helicopter and boats have been deployed to search for a Greek scuba diver who went missing off Malta.

The missing diver was one of two tourist divers who got into trouble scuba diving in rough seas near Dwejra.  One of the divers managed to get back to shore and alerted authorities of a missing diver emergency.

Officials told CDNN the divers entered the sea through narrow tunnel that is extremely dangerous when the area is affected by wind from the northwest.

As the search continues into the second day, rescue personnel are still being hampered by bad weather.
