DORSET, UK (22 Aug 2005) -- A second diver exploring the wreck of the Kyarra has gone missing.

The 22-year-old male diver was reported missing by the crew of the Killer Prawn, the dive boat involved in a similar accident just over two weeks ago when a 48-year-old female disappeared while scuba diving on the same wreck.

According to witnesses, the diver involved in yesterday's accident surfaced briefly and then suddenly disappeared.

The Portland coastguard deployed a helicopter and five lifeboats but the air and sea search has turned up no trace of the missing diver.

The Kyarra is 30 meters deep and one of the most popular UK wreck diving sites.
