CAYE CAULKER, Belize (16 Nov 2005) -- Another tourist who was on a guided free diving and snorkeling trip has gone missing in Belize.

Authorities are searching for a diver who went missing at Shark Ray Alley about a mile southeast of Caye Caulker while snorkeling with his wife and brother.

Police said the missing man had just arrived in Belize on the cruise ship Norwegian Dream and had been in the water for about half an hour when he suddenly disappeared.

Police, Caye Caulker residents and the Belize Defence Force (BDF) are involved in the search.

The latest missing diver accident comes less than a month after four scuba divers went missing and one died on similar guided tour to dive sites off Silk Caye.
