Search resumes for scuba diver missing in Ireland

Powered by CDNN - CYBER DIVER News Network

WEXFORD, Ireland (4 Dec 2005) -- A search for the bodies of two men is resuming off the Co Wexford coast this morning.

Pat Colfer has been missing since his vessel sank last Tuesday. Diver Billy O'Connor went missing three days ago while taking part in the search.

Up to 100 members of sub-aqua clubs around the country have travelled to Kilmore Quay in Co Wexford to offer their assistance in the air and sea search.

Weather permitting, specialist equipment will be in place today that will allow navy divers conduct their search.

A one-mile exclusion zone remains in place around the area where the vessel sank last Tuesday.
