	NZ diver hospitalized with decompression sickness Powered by CDNN - CYBER DIVER News Network by LUTHER MONROE - CDNN Safety News Editor CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (3 June 2006) -- A 26-year-old Nelson man is in serious condition after a scuba diving accident in Marlborough Sounds. The diver is being treated for the 'bends' after running out of air at depth while diving for crayfish and making an emergency ascent.
