BENIDORM, Spain (29 Aug 2006) -- A British tourist drowned while scuba diving off the coast of Benidorm in Spain. According to local authorities, the victim ran out of air. The 47-year-old male diver was scuba diving near Cala del Tio Ximo with other divers who called for help after the accident. Benidorm police responded to the distress call with a high-speed launch and brought the man to port where an ambulance was waiting. | | The ambulance took the diver to Clinica Benidorm where he was pronounced dead.
