BROCKVILLE, Canada (10 Oct 2006) -- A man is dead following a scuba diving accident east of Brockville.

Joel Fournier, 41, signaled to his buddy that he wanted to abort the dive soon after the divers initiated their descent.

The divers were scuba diving in the St. Lawrence River from a private boat about one kilometer from Brockville.
