Scuba diver found dead off Florida coast

CLEARWATER BEACH, Florida (1 Apr 2007) -- The U.S. Coast Guard has recovered the body of a diver who went missing off the Florida coast.

Joseph Libby, 50, of Palm Harbor, disappeared while diving with three other people off Clearwater Beach.

The Coast Guard scrambled a helicopter to search for the missing diver and recovered his body about 15 miles off Clearwater Beach in the Gulf of Mexico.

Authorities said the scuba diving accident is under investigation.
