POINT ARENA, California (21 May 2007) -- Another diver apparently drowned while diving on the Mendocino Coast.

Hung Truong Ha, 59, was diving for abalone near the Point Arena lighthouse with two other divers when the group drifted into rough water.

One of the divers managed to swim to shore but the other two were pulled from the ocean by a rescue helicopter and rescue diver.

Ha was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other divers are in satisfactory condition.

It was the seventh diver fatality in the past two months in Northern California.
