CANMORE, Alberta (21 May 2007) -- A man died while scuba diving with a friend near Canmore.

The 49-year-old diver and a friend were exploring the canal system of the Upper Spray reservoir system when something went wrong while the divers were ascending.

The other diver ascended but when his buddy did not resurface he went back down to find him.
