Tourist dies scuba diving in Hawaii

OAHU,  Hawaii (27 July 2007) -- A California tourist died while scuba diving in Hawaii.

The victim, a 60-year-old woman

Kathleen Aure, 60, of Oakland, California was scuba diving at Turtle Canyon off Maunalua Bay when she encountered problems.

At about 10:30am the dive boat crew found Aure unconscious.

Attempts to revive her failed and she was pronounced dead at Straub Hospital.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
