Man dies scuba diving with The Dive Locker off Cape Cod

CAPE COD, Massachusetts (27 August 2007) -- A man scuba diving with The Dive Locker died after encountering problems at the Target Ship wreck diving site.

According to Captain Robert Brown of the Dennis Fire Department, the victim went into cardiac arrest soon after he resurfaced in Sesuit Harbor.

The Dive Locker crew initiated CPR and called for help at about 8:30am.

Paramedics rushed the victim to Cape Cod Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officials declined to identify the victim but said the accident is under investigation.
