Out-Rage dive boat customer rescued, treated for bends

LULWORTH COVE, UK (1 Sep 2007) -- A man scuba diving with the Out-Rage dive boat was hospitalized with the bends.

After the diver ascended too rapidly near Lulworth Cove off the Dorset Coast, he was airlifted to Poole where an ambulance was standing by.

The victim was taken to a specialist hyperbaric chamber where he is being treated for decompression sickness.

The accident is under investigation.
