ST. ABBS, UK (20 Oct 2007) — A BSAC diver who resurfaced with signs of decompression sickness was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Authorities have not identified the 22-year-old male diver who was diving in St. Abbs Harbour north of Eyemouth. Authorities said the injured man was participating in a BSAC scuba diving activity with seven other divers when he resurfaced with the bends. After the group called for help, an RAF helicopter rushed to the scene of the scuba diving accident and airlifted the injured diver to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, which has a hyperbaric chamber. © CDNN - CYBER DIVER NEWS NETWORK |
