NANAIMO, Canada (4 Dec 2007) — The body of a missing scuba diver has been found in a ship sunk off Nanaimo as a scuba diving attraction.

Daniel Harrington, 32, disappeared while scuba diving with his girlfriend in the HMCS Cape Breton.

A team of four divers found Harrington's body in the stern section of the vessel after interviewing the victim's girlfriend about their dive profile.

Previously, police reopened the wreck and advised divers to inform authorities if they found Harrington's body rather than attempting to recover it.

It is not known when the RCMP dive team will attempt to recover Harrington's body.
