COZUMEL, Mexico (1 Jan 2008) — The search continued today for a female tourist who disappeared while scuba diving in Cozumel. Rescue officials told CDNN that Yumiko Imai, a 40-year-old Japanese tourist, went missing on Sunday while scuba diving off the south coast of the popular tourist destination in Mexico's Riviera Maya. After receiving a call for help from the dive operator, military authorities launched an extensive air and sea search but no trace of the missing diver has been found.
