TOBERMORY, Scotland (16 Mar 2008) — Search and rescue teams are looking for a scuba diver who disappeared today while exploring a shipwreck in the sound of Mull.

Authorities declined to identify the missing 40-year-old man who was exploring the Rondo shipwreck with a BSAC group of divers from England.

The Tobermory lifeboat and the MCA Hawk are searching the sea while four local coastguard teams are walking the coast around Lochaline.

Authorities said the weather conditions are good with clear skies and calm seas.

The Rondo sank in 1935 during a storm that broke the vessel's anchor line. The bow is at a depth of about 50 meters and the stern is several meters from the surface.
