Scuba diving accident kills Wisconsin diver

LAND O'LAKES, Wisconsin (4 July 2008) — A man died while scuba diving in Joyce Lake.

Michael Lenz, 61, of Little Chute, was found unconscious at the surface of the lake at about 2:00pm last Wednesday.

Witnesses who saw the stricken diver called 911 and paramedics rushed to the scene of the scuba diving accident.

Lenz was taken to hospital but efforts to revive him failed and he was pronounced dead.

The accident is under investigation and a autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
