Young tourist dies scuba diving at Bohol Divers Resort

BOHOL, Philippines (23 July 2008) — A young tourist died after a scuba diving accident at Bohol Divers Resort.

Jung Choul Woo, 24, from Seoul, Korea apparently drowned while trying to rescue another diver.

The victim was rushed to Ramiro Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities declined to release more details about the diver death but told CDNN the fatal scuba diving accident is under investigation.

A man was airlifted to hospital after he was injured while scuba diving off the Coronado Islands.
