ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (20 Dec 2008) — Another scuba diving accident ended the life of a young Florida man.

Authorities told CDNN that Jordan Angyalfy, 22, disappeared at about 2:25pm while scuba diving with friends about 25 miles east of St. Augustine.

Other divers found the victim, pulled him up to the boat and started CPR but he never regained consciousness.

St. Johns County Sheriff's deputies and fire-rescue personnel pronounced the victim dead when the boat reached shore at Comanche Cove Marina.

Rescue officials said Angyalfy was an experienced diver and estimated that he had been without air for at least 45 minutes before other divers located him at depth and brought him back to the boat.
