LAHAINA, Maui (1 June 2009) — A renowned Oklahoma civic leader died while scuba diving in Maui. Authorities told CDNN that Keith Waken, 50, a tourist from Enid, Oklahoma, encountered problems while scuba diving and died. Police are investigating the accident and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. Waken was a popular community volunteer who co-owned a local chain of grocery stores.
