White Star Quarry scuba diving accident injures woman

GIBSONBURG, Ohio — A LifeFlight helicopter airlifted a woman to hospital after a scuba diving accident at White Star Quarry.
Authorities told CDNN the woman, whose name has not yet been released, is a Detroit resident.
Sandusky County Park District Director Steve Gruner said the woman, who was taken to Toledo Hospital, had a pulse.
The Gibsonburg Fire Department, Life Squad 14 and 17, Sandusky County Park Rangers, Sandusky County underwater team and Gibsonburg Police assisted in the effort to save the scuba diving accident victim.
Authorities said the accident is under investigation.
Hospital officials have not yet released information about the victim's condition.
