PLYMOUTH, UK — A woman who was injured while scuba diving off the Jennifer Ann dive boat was airlifted to hospital.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the scuba diving accident victim but told CDNN the 55-year-old diver was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
Brixham Coastguard co-ordinated the rescue after receiving a call for help from the crew of the Jennifer Ann.
At about 2:00 pm, a rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose was scrambled and the RNLI's Salcombe lifeboat was launched to assist in the rescue.
Hospital officials have not yet released details about the women's condition.
