Boat propeller slices off chunk of scuba instructor's buttocks

June 22, 2009

PLYMOUTH, UK — A scuba diving instructor is in hospital after a boat ran over him.

Authorities told CDNN that Pete Mills, 24, suffered a 20cm gash in his left buttock after he was hit by the boat's propeller.

Hospital officials said 20 stitches were required to close the wound.

Asked how he felt after surgery, Mills answered, "The worst thing is, I'd only got one scallop."
