Bembridge lifeboat rescues Wight Diver dive boat customers

by LUTHER MONROE @ CDNN - Cyber Diver News Network

ISLE OF WIGHT, UK — A group of scuba divers were rescued yesterday after a scuba diving accident off Ventnor.

Authorities told CDNN the divers were scuba diving off the Wight Diver dive boat, which drifted away after the vessel's propeller snagged on rope.

The Bembridge lifeboat was launched at about 11:15 am and picked up the divers near Dunose.

A Coastguard helicopter was standing by but did not actually assist in the rescue.
