Florida scuba diving accident kills man near Benwood wreck

KEY WEST, Florida — A man died earlier today while scuba diving off Key West.
Authorities told CDNN that Larry Reeves, 67, of Marysville, Tennesse, was pulled from the water after he was found floating unconscious near the Benwood wreck.
The scuba diving accident victim was taken aboard the Coral Princess I where attempts to revive him failed.
The Coast Guard responded to a call for help at about 2:30 pm but it was too late.
The fatal scuba diving accident is under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Larry Reeves, 67, died while scuba diving near Key West.
