MALULU ISLANDS, Indonesia (27 June 2000) -- The president of Indonesia has imposed a state of emergency in Indonesia where clashes between Muslims and Chrisitians have killed over 2,500 people. "The situation is out of control," President Abdurrahman Wahid said.
