KONA, Hawaii (14 July 2005) -- America West Airlines has announced it will introduce new low-cost, non-stop flights to Hawaii beginning on Dec 16, 2005. On that date, America West will begin daily round-trip flights from Phoenix to both Honolulu and Kahului, Maui. On March 1, 2006, the airlines will add a second daily flight between Phoenix and Honolulu, a daily flight between Las Vegas and Kahului, Maui, and four weekly flights between Phoenix and Lihue, Kauai.
