Body of missing Marlborough Sounds diver found

BLENHEIM, New Zealand (11 July 2004) -- The body of a scuba diver who went missing in Marlborough Sounds has been found.

Search and rescue divers found the body of the 35-year-old Christchurch resident near Point Underwood.

The missing diver search was called off last night as darkness fell.

 

Search and rescue divers resumed the search early this morning and the body was found this afternoon.
