SUVA, Fiji (16 Sep 2004) -- Authorities in Fiji still don't know if scuba equipment found at sea belongs to divers who went missing over two weeks ago.

But police immediately reactivated their search for the missing scuba divers after villagers found a BC, tank and regulator floating in the sea at Yasawa-i-Rara.

Divisional Crime Officer Western Superintendent Vijay Singh, who is supervising the police search and rescue team, told CDNN he could not yet confirm whether the scuba equipment belonged to the missing divers.

Danielle Gibbons, 27, and Dan Grenier, 54, disappeared over two weeks ago while drift diving at Vatu-i-Ra passage off Viti Levu.

Gibbons was in Fiji training with Grenier, a PADI dive instructor who owns Crystal Divers.

Relatives of Gibbons in Australia have offered a reward to anyone who finds the divers or any of their scuba diving equipment.
