Kiwi scuba diver suffering hypothermia after boat capsizes

CHRISTCHURCH,  New Zealand (2 Nov 2004) -- A scuba diver suffering from hypothermia has been hospitalized after his boat capsized off Canterbury coast.

The diver, one of four aboard the boat, was evacuated by helicopter to Christchurch Hospital.

 

All of the divers were able to swim to shore after the boat capsized where they were found by the New Zealand Coast Guard.
