CEBU,  Philippines (9 Nov 2004) -- Yet another Japanese scuba diving instructor has died and a second dive instructor is missing off Mactan Island in Cebu.

Mactan police told CDNN that Masahiro Kajita, 25, drowned on a night dive and his buddy, Chihiro Nawa, 20, is still missing.

Local fishermen found Kajita's body at 5am Tuesday; the search for Nawa continues.

Both divers were employed as scuba diving instructors by the Pacific Cebu Resort, one of many seaside resorts in Cebu, a popular holiday destination for Japanese tourists.
