PAPE'ETE, Tahiti, French Polynesia (28 Oct 2001) -- An alert was declared Thursday at the Sheraton Hotel of Moorea, in the Windward Islands, following a bomb threat telephone call. The hotel immediately evacuated 160 tourists and 100 employees. | | Police and fire department personnel responded within minutes. Nothing suspicious was found following an investigation of the site.
